DATTERSELSKABET: Mother Soldier

Costume design for the music performance Mother Soldier for three percussionists - a musical performance by Datterselskabet.

The performance re-interpretates the march drum as a timbral and cultural symbol. In Mother Soldier, the heavy march drum has been exchanged with a light frame drum and the cymbal has been replaced with a gong.

Premiered 2024 in Stevns - and in 2026 it was re-staged at The Royal Theatre in Copenhagen (DK) as part of K:Selekt.
